Since 1994, the CODESYS Group has been serving automation equipment manufacturers with a comprehensive software development environment in accordance with the international IEC 61131-3 standard. An Industry 4.0 platform in a public cloud has complemented this system since 2019. Our customers include well-known companies such as ABB, Schneider Electric, Hitachi, Beckhoff, Festo, and WAGO. Tens of thousands of users worldwide use CODESYS, including companies like Robert Bosch, Liebherr, HOMAG , and Goldhofer. Every year, more than 1 million machines, systems, and installations are automated with CODESYS. More than 180 employees work on the development and marketing of CODESYS at our locations in Kempten, Boston, Beijing and Milan. CODESYS is the undisputed market leader for hardware-independent control software in the field of industrial automation. This was confirmed by an international market study conducted in 2020. Your tasks:

Responsible for the support and continued development of the CODESYS Stores. This means in detail:
 
  • Key role in defining all processes and interfaces relevant to the Stores
  • Gathering and prioritizing all requirements from internal and external stakeholders
  • Management of third-party suppliers who offer their products in the CODESYS Stores
  • Collaboration with agencies, external developers, and suppliers
10 years ago, we launched the CODESYS Store International, an online Shop offering our industrial software products as well as third-party products. This platform was the first of its kind in automation industry. The Store is becoming increasingly important in our Sales and Marketing mix. In 2021, we generated over 2 million euros in sales on this platform, and the number of registered users is increasing by more than 4,500 per month.

Since 2020, we have been operating the CODESYS Store North America in the USA with similar success.

We use Magento 2 for the design and maintenance of our Stores, supported by an external web agency. The Stores are continuously developed to support new license models, additional services, and further automation of our sales processes.

The position of Manager E-Commerce is assigned to our Sales department.

Your profile:

  • Technical education with a business profile (or vice versa), e.g. Industrial Engineer
  • Ideally experience with e-commerce platforms, or the willingness and ability to learn the ropes
  • Experience in B2B business
  • Strong customer orientation
  • Advantageous: Specific knowledge in configuring and customizing Magento 2
  • Fluent in German and English, other language skills would be an advantage
